Admission Process

Eligibility for Admissions:

Admission to B. Tech. First Year through Entrance Examination:

(i) Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other boards with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry /
Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. Courses offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

Admission to B.Tech. Second Year Through Lateral Entry Scheme:

(i) Candidates who have passed 3/4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology except Agriculture Engg. are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engg./Technology except Agriculture Engg.

Direct admission on vacant seats at institution/college level :

The eligibility criteria for direct admission on seats remaining vacant in first year after entrance examination counselling shall be such as may be notified from time to time.

RAGGING

As per the orders of the Honorable Supreme Court, ragging of students in any form, inside or outside the College Campus, is strictly prohibited. Any student found involved in this offensive activity, shall be severely punished that could lead to expulsion from the College. At the time of admission, the students and their guardians are required to furnish an undertaking in respect of this.

M.I.T Modinagar itinerary is a unique blend of modern and traditional performing arts students are enthused not only to excel in studies and show good results but to expose themselves to various social, moral and spiritual programmes.
We, at MIT flock together and celebrate all festivals in unity, happiness and fellowship, making no distinction among ourselves. In this pursuit certain religious activities are the regular features of the institute to uplift the moral and spiritual level of the students. The faculty as well as the students get together and participate with great zeal and enthusiasm in all the national and cultural festivals organized at the Institute campus undoubtedly, patriotic fervors keeps us aflame all the year round but the opportunity of celebrating them (26th Jan, 15th Aug and 2nd October) with great excitement is grabbed at MIT to express out the patriotism more vividly.
We, at MIT feel ourselves responsible towards society and environment. To fulfill these responsibilities; activities like tree plantation and lectures related to save the planet, rain harvesting are also organized in collaboration with Rotary Club with a motto to make our earth: clean and green.
