Modinagar Institute of Technology (MIT) has very impressive campus with beautiful buildings with all the infrastructure and facilities earmarked by AICTE and UP Technical University, Lucknow. The Institute has aesthetically designed class rooms which are furnished with modern furniture and equipped with latest teaching aids. All laboratories are well equipped with adequate no of latest experimental set ups. A very large and upto date library with a stock of around six thousand books of renowned authors and publishers has been established to create learning environment. MONITORING OF ACADEMICS

>The students' performance is monitored on regular basis by conducting scheduled sessional / class tests.
>The answer sheets are evaluated within a week.
>If required, the parents are informed about the progress of their wards.
>Additional / remedial classes are arranged for the weaker students.
>Once in every four weeks students attendance is monitored. For students with poor attendance, their cases are investigated by Dean and reported to HODs, and Director for taking suitable measures so as to improve their attendance.

1) Physics Laboratory:

The practical knowledge of Physics has made a tremendous contribution to the technological development of society . To imbibe the basic tenets of Physics in the young minds, a fully equipped Physics laboratory has been designed and established by a renowned an internationally eminent physicist. Physics Laboratory has fifteen experiments, five more than the perquisite to run the normal engineering course. It imparts the knowledge required by an engineer in Physics Which lays the foundation for the students to understand the engineering subjects.

2) Chemistry Laboratory:

For an engineer, a reasonable acquaintance with engineering chemistry is necessary. Therefore a very spacious Chemistry Laboratory with all the required experiments capacity to accommodate 30 students. It has separate balance room and faculty room.

3) Computer Laboratory:

The computer laboratory aims to produce best computer and IT professionals of global level by inculcating knowledge and applications of computer architecture, database system, system software, e- commerce and internet technologies. The laboratory is equipped to match the fast changing milieu of Information Technology. The teaching inputs are designed to keep the students upgraded to new requirement of this dynamic field. There are 60 computers in computer laboratory. All computers are networked with internet facility through Wi-Fi.

4) Electrical Laboratory:

The electrical engineering produces engineering graduates for dynamic and rapidly changing field with career opportunities in electric power and integrated circuits. The demand of electric power is increasing rapidly and therefore basic knowledge of electrical principles is quite necessary to all engineering graduates. For this purpose, a large well equipped laboratory has been developed with all the latest experimental setups.

5) Mechanical Engineering Laboratory:

The Mechanical engineering is a core and evergreen branch of engineering. In the era of competitive world where the number of sophisticated industries are coming up, the demand for mechanical engineers is increasing day by day. In the Institute, Mechanical Engineering laboratory following machines and models are available:

i. Universal Testing Machine (UTM).
ii. Impact Testing Machine (ITM).
iii. Hardness Testing Machine (HTM).
iv. Boiler Models.
v. Old four wheeler engine for demonstration.
vi. Old refrigerator for demonstration.
vii. Old air conditioner for demonstration.

6) Professional Communication Laboratory:

The culture and language play a vital role in understanding the society. English being the medium of instruction, fluency in English is essential for students. This laboratory orients students to the appreciation of varied cultural expressions in literature, languages, philosophy and bring out their hidden talent. A language laboratory with all latest facilities of audio and video communication and computer with necessary software and sufficient number of CDs and cassettes for phonetics and studying course material of various competitions like GRE & TOEFL etc has been developed in the Department of English and Humanities.

7) Workshop:

Workshop is a place where hands on practice is imparted to the students. A very large workshop with six different shops has been established .The Workshop has following six laboratories with all the machines and tools for conducting practical's and hands on training:

The College has excellent book bank facilities for all students of the College. All important books are provided to each student every year on loan basis.

Through U.P. Sate Government, the Institute provides 100% scholarship to the SC/ST and part scholarship to
selected OBC and general students. Besides, the first two top rank holders of each branch of the College are honored with the motivational and financial benefits. Institute also assists the students in getting the educational loan from the banks as per the needs and rules of the bank.

Samaj Kalyan Vibhag gives the scholarships to SC/ST students. Also University has started a Chatra Kalyan Nidhi & Talent Incentive Scheme, under which different types of scholarships, assistance in the form of books etc. are provided to the students. The Institute takes utmost interest in these welfare schemes of the Government so that the students are benefited.

One of the important requirement to an intensive learning experience is living on campus. Hostel at MIT are surrounded by green open space which gives lots of oxygen rich air and a natural environment away from city noise and pollution. The excellent residential facilities have been carefully planned according to international standards.

Residence hostels are the foundation upon which community and friendships are built, We consider the residential experience to be integral to life at MIT, and therefore have tried to provide maximum on campus residential facility for our students.

To begin with the rooms are triple seated. They have been specifically designed in such a way that each student gets his/her own personal space without any disturbance from the other residents and yet it provides the opportunity for residents to have a common “hang out” space in their rooms. Each room is provided with room cooler. The hostel is provided with Water Coolers fitted with water purifier. The community-living in the hostel provides the students their social, recreational, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs.

The hostels has been provided with modern amenities. Each hostel is being looked after by a Warden and Resident Tutors, being teachers. The students themselves will manage many aspects of the life in hostels. The students are required to abide by the rules and regulations.

Stringent, round-the-clock security arrangements and a doctor on call ensure that all student needs are attended to.

Healthcare facilities at MIT for both students and faculty is our major concern.

The Health Centre will conduct regular medical check-ups by resident and visiting doctors for students and staff.

In keeping with the high standards maintained in all aspects of life at MIT, the food served here is strictly monitored with a large assortment of dishes on the menu. Our Mess is set inside a cool modern interior that offers a casual yet stylish dining atmosphere. These centers serve excellent meals, snacks and other cuisine in a hygienic, decent and spick and span atmosphere. A dedicated and trained team of chefs, cooks and supporting staff make sure that cleanliness, tasteful variety and perfect timing are matters of priority.
