Welcome to the Modinagar Institute of Technology, Modinagar, a premier technical institute situated in Modinagar which is engaged in imparting quality technical education and preparing students for successful entrepreneurship or for placement in leading public and private sector companies. Socrates had said “quality is not an act but a habit” and the same is believed and implemented in our College.
                    Keeping this in view, at MIT, pursuit of excellence is a way of life. We believe in excellence, which originates in creativity, enterprise and industry. The present students are proving their mantle in the tough grind of technical education and are coming out as shining stars. With emphasis given not only to the fundamentals of academics but all round development of the individual, so that the student after passing out, is no longer a student, but an executive toughened to take on the battles of the corporate world.
We strive to create a learning environment for students, where they unfold their potential, closely interact with the practitioners from the corporate world and hone their skills, by working in different groups and taking apt leadership responsibilities in various institutional activities.
Here, I recall the seven point oath administered by the former President of our Country Bharat Ratna Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalaam to motivate the students and to dedicate them to the service of the nation:
    1. Wherever I am, a thought will always come to my mind. That is “What can I give?”
2. Whatever the mission I will do, my motto will be “Work with integrity and succeed with integrity”.
3. I will always remember that “Let not my winged days, be spent in vain”.
4. I realize I have to set a great goal that will lead me to think high, work and realize the goal.
5. My greatest friends will be great human beings, great teachers and great books.
6. I firmly believe that no problem can defeat me; I will become the captain of the problem, defeat the problem and succeed.
7. My national flag flies in my heart and I will bring glory to my nation.

            In order to cope with new realities we attempt to groom tomorrow’s leaders with high competencies and mindset. The technical programmes are a difficult game to play, but if you feel you have it in you to stand the test of fire and come through stronger, this is the place to be.

I, on behalf of the Management of the Institute, once again invite you to the Institute and wish you a fruitful, challenging and enjoyable stay here to make you a competent and all round professional.
